Reviews and Ratings
I must say, this hotel pleasantly surprised me. The rooms were clean, had a mini fridge, tea maker, free Wi-Fi, and even breakfast included, which is usually not the case in this city. Yet, the room size could have been a bit bigger. The service exceeded my expectations; the staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help me, even providing medication when I fell ill. The location was lovely, close to a park, a quiet neighborhood, and just a short walk to the metro station and the river. However, in hindsight, the area around the imperial palace wasn't as captivating as I had hoped. The dining options, while offering Japanese and Western meals, felt a bit repetitive and limited, sometimes leaving me unsure of what I was actually eating. But apart from these minor flaws, my stay was quite satisfying.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms, though a bit small, were comfortable and had all the essentials. The service was top-notch with staff always ready to assist, especially with booking tours. The location, while a bit far from public transit, was ideal next to the Imperial Palace Gardens. The dining experience was a mix of great flavors, and the facilities offered added convenience during my stay.
The hotel was like being in a two-man tent, fantastic, very clean and comfortable, with powerful AC which was wonderful in the humidity of Kyoto. It offers practical rooms filled with all the little things that make the stay convenient. However, the dining experience was n't proper qualitatively and quantitively. The location is fantastic, being just in-front of the Imperial Palace and gardens, close to many worthwhile sights but a bit far from everything.
The hotel had clean rooms, albeit a bit small and plain, but at least they were tidy. The service was exceptional, with staff willing to assist with various needs promptly. The location was superb, right opposite the Imperial Palace Gardens. The dining options were underwhelming with limited choices. Overall, a decent stay with some minor drawbacks.
The hotel is located near the Imperial Palace and Nijo-jo Palace, offering practical and convenient rooms filled with thoughtful amenities. While the nearest metro stop requires some walking, the friendly service and superb dining experience make up for the lack of nearby restaurants and bars.
